PARISH NEWS

FROM FR PIUS
I am happy to announce the new principal for our school from January 2017 onwards and I thank you all for your prayers seeking God's guidance in this appointment. Mrs Karen Wilson who is our parishioner volunteering with the Children's Liturgy ministry, has been a teacher for many years at St Peters and has held various roles of leadership, currently in the role of acting principal in the absence of Mr McGrath. We wish her every blessing in the new role as principal where she will lead St Peters Primary to greater heights with the Grace of God and support of our St Peters community.

We are seeking some more assistance. "Would you like to help?" It takes approx. 1-1/2 hours about every 8 weeks or so, on a roster system. If you would like to help or know more about this service, please ring Bernice on 9749-2812.

SOCIAL SERVICES SUNDAY is observed across the Archdiocese on Sunday 18 September 2016. It is an opportunity to reflect on our commitment to love of neighbour.
