STEWARDSHIP CORNER - 31ST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME"
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted." - MATTHEW 23:12
Jesus gave His life to serve, not to be served. Putting other's needs before our own needs is a sign of becoming a mature disciple, of following Jesus' example. Humility is really a sign of a strength. By putting other's needs first we declare to the world that we are putting our complete trust in God. When we align our thoughts and actions with God's plan for us, the result is Joy and Peace.

MARRRIAGE PLEBISCITE
Ballot papers for the marriage plebiscite are due by November 7. If you have not sent in your vote, please do so as soon as possible. Our ability to win the plebiscite and preserve family, faith and freedom will hinge on the outcome of this vote.  Please check the poster on the Bulletin Board.

If we vote "YES" in the plebiscite:

  1. Loss of freedom of speech
  2. Loss of freedom of religion
  3. Parents won be able to oppose the radical sex education program ‘Safe Schools.

If we vote "NO" in the plebiscite:

  1. We send a strong message on family, faith and freedom.
  2. Parents can continue to teach their children about their own beliefs about gender, sexuality and marriage.
  3. We win the right to civil debate where political correctness has previously intimidated many into silence.
