CHILDREN SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM –SUNDAY SCHOOL
Classes start this Sunday, 19th February from 9:15am to 10:25am. You will find us by following the arrows on the walls of the school buildings near the undercover car park. Enquiries to Bernice on 9749-2812.

ROSTERS for PIETY STORE and COMMUNION TO THE SICK for March, April and May 2017 are now available for collection from the Hall.

ROSTERS FOR LECTORS AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS for March, April and May can be collected from the Hall. The roster for Passion Sunday and Easter Ceremonies will be issued at a later date.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
If you can help with serving on the Piety Store once a month after your regular Mass, please contact Bev Jones on 9749-2388. Thank you.

BIBLE STUDY
We are pleased to announce that Bible Study classes will again commence at St. Peter Apostle Mission Parish. They will be held every second and fourth Monday with the first session on Monday 13th March, 2017 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Community Centre. We will be starting with the Gospel of St. Luke and moving to The Acts. The class will be conducted by Royden D’Souza who is currently forming to be a Permanent Deacon. All are welcome. Bring your Bibles and come to experience an interactive study of the Bible. Queries call Royden on 0426 071 375.

Every Friday in Lent 7:00pm Stations of the Cross followed by Mass, starting 3rd March.
3-5 Mar 2017 Our Lady of Fatima Centennial Celebrations.
13 Mar 2017 Bible studies commence. Held every 2nd and 4th Monday, 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Community Centre
21 March 11:00am Anointing/Healing Mass for the Sick followed by a light luncheon.
25/26 March Blessing for Pregnant Mothers and their babies all weekend Masses.
6 April 7:30pm Rite II of Reconciliation at St. Peter’s Parish.


SPANISH MASS
Please note that there will be no Spanish Mass on the first Sunday in March (5th March) because of our celebrations for the centennial of Our Lady of Fatima.

DAY OF FASTING AND PRAYER FOR REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS
The Archdiocese has advised that there will be a day of Fasting and Prayer for Refugees and Asylum Seekers.  Our Parish will hold this next weekend, 25/26 February.

OUR LADY OF FATIMA – CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS 3RD TO 5TH MARCH 2017
Our Parish is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima from Friday the 3rd of March through to Sunday the 5th of March to mark the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady in Portugal. This Statue is one of six which has been blessed by Pope Francis to travel the six continents. Please keep these dates free.

A petition box will be available over the three day visit for parishioners to place their petitions. Parishioners are also invited to bring a single rose on the last day (Sun 5th March) for the Rose Ceremony/Presentation after the 10:30am Mass. A flyer detailing the full program for the 3 days will be posted on the noticeboards next weekend.

PRAYERS FOR VOCATIONS
Very soon the students for the priesthood will recommence their studies at Corpus Christi College, our seminary in Carlton. It is anticipated that there will be eleven new students for the Melbourne Archdiocese this year. Please keep them in your prayers, and pray for more vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life. Perhaps God is calling somebody from our parish or family.

POPE’S INTENTION FOR FEBRUARY 2017
That all those who are afflicted, especially the poor, refugees and marginalized, may find welcome and comfort in our communities.
