COMMUNION SERVICE
Please note that as Fr. Vincent is not available, instead of Mass at 8:30am there will be Liturgy of the Word and Communion Service on Wednesday 10th April. There will be the usual 7:00pm Mass on Wednesday 10th April.
COMBINED PARISH RITE II RECONCILIATION, THURS. 11TH APRIL, 7:00PM AT ST. PETER'S PARISH
Please join us for our annual Rite II Reconciliation on Thursday 11th April at 7:00pm. This is a great way to prepare ourselves this Lenten season for the celebration of the Paschal Mystery. All welcome.

WELCOME TO OUR NEWLY BAPTISED
We welcome into our Church community Christian Robert Tringali, Ethan Christopher Brewer, Xavier Raymond Mulquiney who are to be baptised this Sunday. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the love of Parents, Godparents, family and friends, we pray that these children will lead lives full of happiness, faith and love.
CONGRATULATIONS FR. DOM on the 60th Anniversary of your Priesthood. Thank you for your shepherding over the past 60 years, and in particular for our parish, St. Peter's.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Held every Friday during Lent commencing at 7:00pm in the Church and followed by Mass. Stations of the Cross on 12th April will be led by the St Peters Charismatic Prayer Community.
LENTEN RETREAT
Thank you to all who attended the Lenten Retreat over the last 4 weeks. We were able to journey with Christ through the Gospels and build a closer relationship with Jesus. May this be the start of a new journey that carries on well past Easter. With your support we may have an Advent retreat later this year.
PROJECT COMPASSION BOXES
A box has been placed outside the Sacristy for the return of Project Compassion boxes or you can see Fr. Vincent or one of the Deacons to return your boxes. Thank you.
GOOD FRIDAY MOVIE NIGHT
In order to continue our commemoration of the Good Friday services, Young Adults Group will be showing the movie Son of God entirely based on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The movie will commence at 7:00pm and there will be no BBQ or snacks. So come along and continue to learn about our God who died on the Cross to save us.
MASS OF THE HOLY OILS (CHRISM MASS)- TUES 16TH APRIL 11:00AM, ST. PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL, EAST MELBOURNE
All are invited to attend this special Mass celebrated by Archbishop Peter Comensoli and concelebrated with Priests and Deacons from the Archdiocese. Also, the Oil of the Sick, the Oils of Catechumens and the Chrism are blessed. This Mass manifests the communion of the Priests with their Bishop in a leadership of service. Kindly note that the 8:30am morning Mass will be celebrated as usual.
DID YOU KNOW?
At the present time, we have fifty students in our seminary at Carlton, Corpus Christi College. There are currently thirty-five students for the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Melbourne – thirty in Corpus Christi College, and five studying in Rome. Please keep these men in your prayers, and pray that many more will join them to minister in our Archdiocese. Your prayer today might make the difference to a young person.
