NEW PARISH SECRETARY APPOINTMENT
It is with great joy I would like to advise that we have appointed a new parish secretary - Anita D’Souza, commencing from July 19, 2019. The vacancy was advertised by the Archdiocese HR Office which received many applications. Anita was selected after an interview process by the Archdiocese HR Office and myself. She has been volunteering in the office since February 2019 and has been our parishioner for over 20 years being involved in many ministries in our parish. We wish her all the best in her new role and pray for every blessing on her. Please make her feel welcome when you next meet or speak to her. Blessings. Fr Vincent.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FIRST HOLY COMMUNION – SUNDAY 4TH AUGUST, 10:30AM
Parishioners, please note that children from St. Peter’s Sunday School will receive their First Holy Communion on Sun 4th August at the 10:30am Mass. Please be aware that parking may be an issue. We ask that you keep these children in your prayers as they prepare to receive our Lord for the first time.
YOUTH MASS
Please note our Youth Mass will be celebrated at 5:00pm this Sunday, 21 July. All the Youth of our parish are encouraged to attend. The Youth of our parish will assist in all ministries at the Mass and Fr. Vincent will give a special blessing to all the youth present. Fellowship after mass. Please bring a plate of sweet or savouries to share.
THANKSGIVING PROGRAM
New financial year Thanksgiving envelopes and letters for Direct Debit, Miscellaneous and Credit Card are available for collection from the hall. Please collect your letter or envelopes as soon as possible as they are to be used for the new financial year.
If you are able to assist with delivering envelopes or letters, please contact the Parish Office in the first instance. Thank you.
RCIA
Our RCIA program for 2019 has now started. We will be meeting each Wednesday evening from 7:30pm in the Theatrette at the parish office. Anybody who would like to know more about the Catholic faith is welcome to come along. Please call Francis Thomas (0401 787 372) or Rodney Dearing (0419 881 610) if you would like to attend.
SAUSAGE SIZZLE
Please support our Sausage Sizzle which will be held after all Masses on the weekend of 27/28 July. Proceeds go towards activities in our Church. Volunteers to help with the Sausage Sizzle will be very welcome.

INVITATION
In recognition of the First Anniversary of Most Reverend Peter Comensoli as Archbishop of Melbourne, parishioners are invited to the Mass of the Imposition of the Pallium to be celebrated by His Excellency, Most Reverend Adolfo Tito Yllana, Apostolic Nuncio in Australia at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Thursday, 1st August 2019, commencing at 7:00pm, followed by light refreshments in the Cathedral Room, Cardinal Knox Centre.
TA PINU SHRINE (BACCHUS MARSH) invites parishioners to join them as Archbishop Peter Comensoli concelebrates Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary including blessing of the Mosaic of Icon image of Our Lady Ta Pinu, Queen of the Family on Saturday, 17th August 2019 starting with Praise & Worship at 2:00pm, Rosary Procession at 2:30pm and Holy Mass & Benediction at 3:00pm.
