ST. PETER'S & ST. JAMES' COMBINED PARISH RITE II RECONCILIATION, THURSDAY 20TH DEC, 7:00PM
Please join us at St. James' Parish for our Combined Rite II Reconciliation on Thursday 20th December at 7:00pm. This is a great way to prepare ourselves to welcome Jesus our Saviour into our hearts this Christmas. All welcome
CHRISTMAS FAMILY MASS - MON 24TH DECEMBER 6:30 PM, CAROLS 6:00 PM
All children are invited to dress up as a Nativity character e.g. angels, shepherds, Mary, Joseph, etc. for this family Mass. Please have the children ready and waiting in the hall so they can process into Church for the start of the Carols by 6:00pm sharp.
FEAST OF THE HOLY INNOCENTS, MARTYRS - FRIDAY 28TH DECEMBER, 8:30 AM MASS
A special Blessing will be given to all babies and children at this Mass in memory of the young children of Bethlehem, put to death by Herod who sought to kill Jesus. These innocent victims bear witness to Christ, to a world which would not receive Him.
NEW YEAR'S EVE MASS, MONDAY 31ST DECEMBER, 8:30AM FOLLOWED BY HOLY HOUR OF THANKSGIVING
Please join us as we give thanks for the many blessings and graces received throughout 2018. The 8:30am Mass will be followed by Exposition, quiet reflection/prayer time, Divine Mercy Chaplet and conclude with Benediction. All are welcome.

Please note that there will be NO Healing Mass or Baptism Preparation Meeting in January. The NEXT Healing Mass and Baptism Preparation meeting will be held in February 2019.
WELCOME TO OUR NEWLY BAPTISED
We welcome into our Church community Letty Britnell, Amelia Gray-Shields, Emily D'Lima, Ashton Hallinan, Gemma Hallinan, Sophie Salamanca, Yzabelle Callejo and Gabriel Tibar who are to be baptised this Sunday. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the love of Parents, Godparents, family and friends, we pray that these children will lead lives full of happiness, faith and love.
PARISH OFFICE CLOSURE
The last working day for the parish office will be Friday 21st December. The office will re-open on Monday 7th January 2019. Bulletins for 30th December and 6th January will be single sheets with mass readings. Normal bulletins will resume from 13th January 2019, along with names for Death Anniversaries, Recently Deceased and Sick List.

DAWN MASS NOVENA, 16-24 DECEMBER 18
This will be the 23rd year our parish will celebrate the Dawn Mass Novena in preparation for Christmas. The Novena Mass is held at 5:00am every morning for nine consecutive days, starting on the 16th and concluding on the 24th December. Our parish prayer group organises this by coordinating with our parishioners, other groups in our parish, prayer group benefactors and others from neighbouring parishes who attend the dawn Mass every year. Their generosity provides a festive breakfast for everyone who attends the dawn Mass. If any of you would like to be a part of this breakfast by either providing food or wish to donate towards it, please contact the parish office on 9749 4300 or email hopperscrossing@cam.org.au.
