ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
The usual meeting of the Hoppers Crossing Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society will be held next Tuesday, 2 May at 7:30pm in the Parish Community Centre. SAUSAGE SIZZLE & MUFFIN STALL
After all Masses this weekend, 29/30 April, the Ladies Auxiliary will have a muffin stall in conjunction with the Sausage Sizzle.
ROSARY DURING THE MONTH OF MAY
During the month of May, Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm in church every day from Monday to Friday and after the evening Mass on Saturday and Sunday. All parishioners are invited to join us.
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES have resumed. Classes are held from 9:50am to 10:25am. Any queries phone Bernice on 9749-2812.
BRIC-A-BRAC STALL
On the weekend of 6/7 May there will be a Bric-A-Brac Stall to support the Joseph’s Corner Counselling Service. Many items on sale including Knitted Knee Blankets, Scarves, Beanies and much more. We thank you very much for your support.
MONTH OF MAY MASS COUNT
Parishioners, please note that as required by our Archdiocese each year, there will be a mass count at all masses for the first four weekends in May. Could we please request volunteers to assist with these counts. The count is also required to be taken at the Filipino, Polish and Spanish masses for the first four weekends in May.

GOOD SHEPHERD SUNDAY, 6/7 MAY
Next weekend 6/7 May, we welcome Huy Nguyen from Corpus Christi College to our parish for Good Shepherd Sunday. He will give a reflection on vocations and his own experiences at the Masses over the weekend. Please pray for him and for men studying at the seminary and for vocations from our parish.

100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE APPARITIONS OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA
May 13 is the Centenary of the First Apparition of Our Lady at Fatima. Pope Francis will canonise two of the Visionaries, Bl. Francisco and Bl. Jacinta Marto at Fatima that day. The Carpenters Shop invites male & female parishioners to join them in the Community Centre that morning at 7:45am to venerate Our Lady. A statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be carried in procession at 8:30am to the side chapel in the church where it will be available for veneration until 10:30am. If you wish to join us for breakfast at 7:20am, ring Les on 0401 541 666 or email Les at bevlesj@yahoo.com.au. Numbers may be limited for the breakfast so contact Les early.
To mark this special occasion our Parish will make the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima available for veneration in the side Chapel, on the 13th of every month, commencing Saturday 13th May, the first apparition, until October, the last apparition. Kindly check the flyer on hall notice board for timetable. Pope Francis has declared a Special Indulgence for those venerating the Statue on these special days. The conditions for the Indulgence is set out on the notice next to the flyer in the hall.
