MOTHER’S DAY BLESSING
May God’s many blessings be yours forever more and may you know you’re valued and loved by the Lord, especially on this day that we have set aside to show our appreciation to the Mothers in our lives.
ROSARY DURING THE MONTH OF MAY
During the month of May, Rosary is recited at 6:30pm in church every day from Monday to Friday and after the evening Mass on Saturday and Sunday. All parishioners are invited to join us.
MONTH OF MAY MASS COUNT
Parishioners, please note that as required by our Archdiocese each year, there will be a mass count at all masses for the first four weekends in May. Could we please request volunteers to assist with these counts. The count is also required to be taken at the Filipino, Polish and Spanish masses for the first four weekends in May.
DIOCESE CHAPLAINCY APPEAL
There will be a third collection on the weekend of May 20/21 for the Diocese Chaplaincy Appeal. We thank you for your support.
PENTECOST SUNDAY, 4 JUNE
Our parish will celebrate the feast of the Pentecost by holding an all-night Vigil starting at 7:00pm on Saturday, June 3 and concluding with Mass at 5:00am on Sunday June 4. All are invited to attend. Roster sheets have been placed in the hall so parishioners can pick times suitable to them.
HEALING MASS IN JUNE
Please note that there will be no Healing Mass or Prayer Meeting on Saturday June 3. Healing Mass for June will be held on Saturday, 10th June.

PIETY STORE
Volunteers needed to help on the Piety Store after the 6:00pm Saturday Mass and after the 10:30 am and 5:00pm Sunday Masses. Contact Bev on 97492388.
GOOD SAMARITAN MINISTRY
The Good Samaritan Ministry assists parishioners in need during difficult times e.g. bereavement, unemployment and loneliness. The ministry offers a confidential service by volunteers drawn mainly from the parish community. The ministry provides an opportunity to serve others and put faith into action, and the chance to grow and learn in relating to others. PETER’S PRAYER GROUP
There will be no prayer meeting on Saturday, 20th May but all are invited to attend the CCR Renewal Day at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 49 Nicholson Street, East Brunswick, 10am to 4pm BYO lunch.
PETER’S SCHOOL WALKATHON
This year the school is raising funds for outdoor furniture and equipment for the students. Fr. Pius will be joining the students in their Annual Walkathon on 15th May and we are requesting parishioners to support this fundraiser by sponsoring Fr. Pius. Sponsorship envelopes are available at the back of the church and in the hall. We thank you for your support.

Sr. Jean from Joseph`s Corner free Counselling Service, thanks Fr. Pius, and you, the Parish of St. Peters, for supporting the bric a brac stall last weekend. It was very successful and raised much needed funds of $1,162. 00 in total. Also a big thank you to all who have been kindly knitting, etc. to help stock the stall ,and our shop in Yarraville. God Bless You All.
St. Peters Ladies Aux. thank all who purchased muffins from the stall on the w/end of 29/30th April. We hope you enjoyed them. We made $348.00. This helps us to pay for flowers at Christmas and Easter, light lunches we provide when for the Anointing masses and other things around the parish.
PARISH OFFICE
The Parish Secretary will be away from 29 May to 9 June incl. During this time, the parish office will be manned by volunteers. To assist us during this two week period, we request that any notices and names for the sick list and death anniversaries be forwarded to the parish office by 3:00pm on the Wednesday prior to the weekend.
