WELCOME TO OUR NEWLY BAPTISED
We welcome into our Church community Kyle Sebastian Amador Moreno who was baptised on Saturday. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the love of Parents, Godparents, family and friends, we pray that this child will lead a life full of happiness, faith and love.
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY – 28TH APRIL, 2019
To celebrate this Feast there will be Exposition, Adoration and Confession commencing at 2:00pm. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be recited at 3:00pm (the hour of Mercy), followed by Mass which will be celebrated by Fr. Denis Stanley STL EV, Rector of Corpus Christi College, Carlton and Fr. Vincent John. Please note that 5:00pm Mass will be celebrated as normal.
ST. MARIA FAUSTINA KOWALSKA
On this Divine Mercy Sunday, we remember St. Maria Faustina Kowalska. The devotions to the Divine Mercy are based on the writings of St. Maria Faustina’s messages from Jesus. St. Maria Faustina was beatified on 18th April 1993 and canonized on 30th April 2000, both by Pope St. John Paul II. Her feast day is celebrated on October 5th.
The next HEALING MASS will be held on Saturday, 4 May, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. All are invited to attend.

The next Baptism Preparation Meeting will be held on Monday, 6 May at 7:00pm in Church.
PROJECT COMPASSION BOXES
A box has been placed outside the Sacristy for the return of Project Compassion boxes or you can see Fr. Vincent or Dcn. Charles to return your boxes. Thank you.
SPECIAL COLLECTION
There will be a special collection next weekend 4th/5th May 2019 to show our solidarity towards the Sri Lankan Christian Community who have been greatly affected by the recent bombings and devastation that occurred in Colombo and Negombo. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.’” (John 20:21)
Peace – the first gift of the risen Lord. Just as Jesus sent the apostles out into the world, so too, He sends us. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to be grateful and generous. Look for opportunities to share His peace, not only within our local parish boundaries, but outside of them as well. In giving, we receive the peace of Jesus Christ.
