SCHOOL FIRST HOLY COMMUNION MASS DATES
Parishioners, please note the following dates that children from St. Peter's school will receive their First Holy Communion. Please be aware that parking may be an issue at these Masses. We ask that you keep these children in your prayers as they prepare to receive our Lord for the first time
Saturday 25th May – 6:00pm
Sunday 26th May – 10:30am
PARISH MASS COUNT FOR ARCHDIOCESE
We will conduct counting at all weekend masses during the month of May.
ROSTERS for Communion to the Sick, Piety Store, Lectors & Communion Ministers for June to Aug are now available for collection from the Hall.
SAUSAGE SIZZLE AND BISCUIT & CAKE STALL
Please support our Sausage Sizzle and Biscuit & Cake Stall which will be held after all Masses this weekend. Proceeds go towards activities in our Church. Volunteers to help with the Sausage Sizzle will be very welcome.
PENTECOST VIGIL
To celebrate Pentecost Sunday, our Parish will hold our annual all-night Vigil with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 7:00pm on Saturday 8th June 2019 ending with 5:00am Mass on Sunday 9th June 2019. The Vigil will include Adoration, Praise & Worship, talks about Pentecost and the Holy Spirit, Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. We are requesting volunteers to keep watch from 7:00pm till 11:00pm. Could you please write your name and a time preference on the Roster Sheet placed on the table outside the Sacristy. St. Peter’s Charismatic Prayer Group will be present from 11:00pm onwards.
ST. PETER’S CHARISMATIC PRAYER COMMUNITY (KNK) 24TH ANNIVERSARY
Parishioners are all invited to attend the 24th Anniversary of our parish Charismatic group on Saturday 15th June from 11:00am to 1:00pm. The program will include Praise & Worship, Thanksgiving Mass and fellowship.

Our limited human understanding cannot begin to understand the immense power of God. Instead of trusting in God, we think we can control every outcome. Do you want to make God laugh? Tell Him your plans. The next time worry, anxiety or fear creeps in, thank God for all He has given you and trust that He has a better plan for you.
EDMUND RICE COMMUNITY & REFUGEE SERVICES is looking for volunteers to help primary school children with homework, preparing food, organising materials and joining in with fun activities. Volunteering to support young people to meet their potential can be extremely rewarding and a lot of fun. We provide training, opportunities for added responsibilities and volunteer recreation days. We welcome university student placements. Volunteers are required for an after school homework program for 30 refugee and migrant primary school children Mondays and another 30 on Tuesdays at Penrose Promenade Community Centre, 83 Penrose Promenade, Tarneit 3029. The aim is to have 1 volunteer tutor for every child enrolled in the program. For further information, contact the Volunteer Coordinator Anthony on 0423 797 088.
