ROSARY DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER
A reminder that during the month of October, the Rosary is recited daily in the Church at the following times:
Monday to Friday - after Morning Mass and in the evening at 6:30pm
Saturday - 8:40am prior to the 9:15am Mass
Sunday - 8:10am, prior to the 8.30am Mass

URGENT REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS
We are in urgent need of volunteers to take Communion to our Sick and "Shut-In" parishioners who can no longer attend Mass at church. If you are able to assist in this very worthy cause we need your HELP urgently. Please leave your details and availability with the Parish Secretary on 9749 4300. You will only be required once a month on a Sunday, Wednesday or Thursday. Thank you.
MULTICULTURAL MASS REHEARSAL
Please note that the rehearsal for the Multicultural Mass will be held on Friday, 27 October 2017 at 7:15 pm in the church. All participating in the Liturgy are requested to attend. Kindly make note that this year the rehearsal is not on Saturday.
READERS AND COMMUNION MINISTERS
Can we please request Readers and Communion Ministers to return their Christmas / New Year Availability forms in the next couple of weeks so we are able to start on the new roster. Thank you.

Come and see our Nativity Sets, ornaments, etc. All are very reasonably priced. Divine Mercy and Columban Calendars, Religious Christmas cards and Advent calendars are now available. Browse the Christmas CATALOGUE. Orders can be taken until November 12th for delivery before Christmas. Some items may sell out quickly so early orders are highly recommended.
SAUSAGE SIZZLE
There will be a fundraising Sausage Sizzle after all Masses this weekend. Margaret will be more than happy to accept any help. Thank you for your support.
ARCHDIOCESAN OFFICE FOR YOUTH WORKSHOP
The Year of Youth is an invitation for the whole church in Australia to celebrate young people and create new opportunities to meet the young heart of the Church. This workshop day for parish priests, pastoral associates and parish leaders will explore how your parish can use the Year of Youth to 'open new horizons for spreading joy'. WORLD MISSION SUNDAY
A 3rd collection will be taken up on the Weekend of 21/22 October for World Mission Sunday. We thank you for your support.
VOLUNTARY ASSISTED DYING BILL
Please pray and act after reading the second Pastoral Letter that the Bishops of Victoria have released regarding the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill that has been introduced to parliament and will be debated next week. A copy of this letter is enclosed with the bulletin for you to take home.
