17th Sunday in Ordinary Time 2017

REGISTRATION OF PARISHIONERS

If you are not already a parishioner and would like to be registered as one at St. Peters, please complete a registration card available from the foyer and as above, drop it in the collection bags during Mass or in the Mass offering slot near the sacristy or at the parish office, or give it to Fr. Pius or Dcn. Charles after Mass. Please remember that being baptised in this parish or attending Mass regularly does not automatically make a person a parishioner. The person needs to be registered on the parish census program.

Monday 4 September to Thursday 7 September at Rydges on Swanston, 701 Swanston Street, Carlton.

This conference will be an opportunity for clergy, pastoral associates and pastoral planners to reflect upon the signs of the times and move forward with hope. Keynote speakers and workshop presenters will consider the Church in Australia’s secular context, wherein we encounter belief, unbelief, belonging, abandonment, rejection and credibility; grapple with the Church’s tradition in light of our identity and within this secular culture; and imagine how we might respond anew and with integrity within these challenging times. Keynote Speakers: Professor Richard Gaillardetz (USA), Dr Maeve Louise Heaney, Geraldine Doogue, Archbishop Mark Coleridge and Hugh Mackay.

Cost: $420, including conference dinner. Please note: accommodation not included
