DEVOTIONAL PRAYER FOR MARCH
PRAYER FOR PALM SUNDAY
On this day of great rejoicing, Lord Jesus Christ, when we welcome You as our King and Saviour, we also walk in the shadow of Your cross.
Hosanna! we cry. Blessed are You who come in God's name to save us. Hosanna!
Strengthen our faith on this Palm Sunday so that when the time comes to carry the cross we might still call out to You with heartfelt praise.
Give us the grace and the courage to follow You this Holy Week from death to resurrection, from darkness to the fullness of light. We need You, Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Hosanna!

1st Reading (1st Reading Is 50:4-7)
A reading from the prophet isaiah.
The Lord
has given me a disciple’s tongue. So that I may know how to reply to the wearied
he provides me with speech. Each morning he wakes me to hear, to listen like a
disciple. The Lord has opened my ear. For my part, I made no resistance, neither
did I turn away. I offered my back to those who struck me, my cheeks to those
who tore at my beard; I did not cover my face against insult and spittle. The Lord
comes to my help, so that I am untouched by the insults. So, too, I set my face
like flint; I know I shall not be shamed.

2nd Reading (Phil 2 :6-11)
A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Philippians.
His state was divine, yet Christ Jesus did not cling to his equality with God but emptied himself to assume the condition of a slave and became as men are; and being as all men are, he was humbler yet, even to accepting death, death on a cross. But God raised him high and gave him the name which is above all other names so that all beings in the heavens, on earth and in the underworld, should bend the knee at the name of Jesus and that every tongue should acclaim Jesus Christ as Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ST. PETER’S SCHOOL FIRST RECONCILIATIONS

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY – 7TH APRIL, COMMENCING AT 2:00PM
To celebrate this beautiful Feast, there will be Exposition, Adoration and Confession and reciting the Chaplet commencing at 2:00pm followed by Mass at 3:00pm. Principal Celebrant will be Fr. Cameron Forbes, Rector of Corpus Christi College. Please note that the 5:00pm Sunday Mass will be celebrated as usual.

TWG AND PARISH MISSION WORK
As explained in the TWG presentation, the questionnaire on the mission work has been sent to all ministry leaders for completion. Completed questionnaires are expected to be submitted to the parish office and Marcela, Paul and David by 16 April. Assessment and further plans will commence after that.
BLESSING OF ALL PREGNANT MOTHERS AND THEIR UNBORN BABIES - WEEKEND OF 6/7 APRIL
To mark the Feast of the Annunciation, this year celebrated on Monday 8th April due to Holy Week, there will be a special blessing for pregnant mothers and their unborn babies at all the weekend Masses of 6/7 April.
