DOMINI CHORUM
The Welcoming Group choir will now be known as Domini Chorum. If you would like to join their choir who sing on the fourth Sunday of each month at the 10:30am Mass, they would be very happy to welcome you. Contact the Parish Office for details.
CORPUS CHRISTI FEAST PROCESSION, MAY 29TH
To mark the Feast of Corpus Christi, our Parish will again this year celebrate this Feast with a Procession of the Blessed Sacrament around the School Oval next Sunday, 29th May starting at 10:00am, followed by Mass. We invite you all to attend this beautiful ceremony.
HOMILY REFLECTION
To help us reflect on the homily, from now on, at all masses each weekend, there will be one minute’s silence after which the first collection will be taken up. We thank you for your understanding.
MARRIAGE PAPERWORK – OVERSEAS WEDDINGS
If you intend to be married overseas, please contact the parish office to find out details of paperwork and to make an appointment to meet with Fr. Pius six months prior to the marriage. Requirement for overseas weddings is that all paperwork must be completed, signed by the Parish Priest and sent to the Vicar General’s Office for necessary action. All paperwork is then to be sent to the diocese where the marriage is to take place. The overseas diocese will also sign the paperwork and will forward it to the celebrant. Because of this lengthy procedure, it is important that arrangements begin six months prior to the marriage.
CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS & THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
The Brothers of Two Hearts will visit our parish on the weekend of 18th and 19th June to consecrate our parish families to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
STEWARDSHIP RENEWAL
Stewardship renewal will take place at the end of June. New envelopes will be available for collection on the 18th/19th June. If you would like to change your current pledge or mode of giving, please contact Josephine on 9749 4300, or email stpeters@westnet.com.au or hopperscrossing@cam.org.au on or before 31st May 2016. If you would like to join our Stewardship program, please take a registration card from the foyer, complete the Stewardship side and drop it into the collection bags during Mass or in the Mass offering slot near the sacristy. You can also drop it off at the parish office or give it to Fr. Pius or Deacon Charles after Mass.
REGISTRATION OF PARISHIONERS
If you are not already a parishioner and would like to be registered as one at St Peters, please complete a registration card available from the foyer and as above, drop it in the collection bags during Mass or in the Mass offering slot near the sacristy or at the parish office or give it to Fr. Pius or Deacon Charles after Mass. Please remember that being baptised in this parish or attending Mass regularly does not automatically make a person a parishioner. The person needs to be registered on our census program.

ST. PETER’S GRADE 4 CHILDREN
Let us remember in our prayers, the Grade 4 children who will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday 28th May at 6:00pm, Saturday 4th June at 6:00pm, Sunday 5th June at 10:30am and Sunday 12th June at 10:30am. Please also note that parking may pose a problem at these Masses.
VOLUNTEER AV OPERATOR TRAINING
Matthew Reuter will be conducting a training session on 2nd June from 7:30pm in the Choir Loft. If you would like to attend this training, please leave your name with the Secretary at the parish office on 9749 4300.
MONSTER GARAGE SALE ON 28TH MAY
We are looking for saleable goods in excellent condition. If you would like to drop off items, the sheds will be open this weekend 21st May between 10:00am and 11:30am, or to arrange a pick up, ring Kevin on 9748 9494.

CHAPLAINCY SUNDAY APPEAL
Last weekend we had Chaplaincy Sunday in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. There was a special collection in all parishes to support the vital work of our Catholic Chaplains. We thank you for your support. If you took home a donation envelope, can you kindly return it to the parish in the coming weeks.

CHRISTMAS DINNER
The 2016 Christmas Dinner will not be held as it has been discontinued. It is with sadness that this is to happen. We, the Knights of the Southern Cross, wish to humbly give thanks and praise to God for all the wonderful people, our partners in this venture – the Ladies Auxiliary and Eagles Wings for their support for over 25 years.
