CARPENTERS SHOP
All men are invited to join us at the Community Centre each Saturday morning from 7:20 to 8:30 for breakfast and an informal discussion of a faith issue. A hearty appetite is an advantage. Come and see if you enjoy the experience. If you have any queries, ring Les on 0401 541 666.
JOSEPH’S CORNER COUNSELLING SERVICE SHOP
There will be a stall in the hall at all Masses the weekend of 28/29 July, featuring Bric-a-Brac, knitting and crochet goods from Joseph’s Corner Counselling Service shop "MERRIJIG" in Yarraville. The shop raises funds to help keep the Counselling Service going. The Free Service is for Partners and Family members of people affected by addiction. If you can find something to purchase at the stall, you will be helping to keep this service continuing. There will also be a donation box at the stall for anyone wanting to make a cash donation. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

Most Reverend Denis Hart, D.D. FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION

We call on all parishioners to join us in this important once a month devotion and pray for our children, families and our parish community and especially those who do not have anyone to pray for.
VOCATIONS
As we say thank you to Archbishop Hart for his 17 years of leadership and his 51 years of priesthood in Melbourne, we are grateful for his priestly example of a Good Shepherd in our midst. May this example inspire many others to be 'Good Shepherds' to their brothers and sisters in priesthood and consecrated life. Please pray for vocations from our parish community.
In one of his addresses in Broken Bay, Archbishop-Elect Comensoli reminded us that "a priestly vocation is a joint project of the individual, the faith community, and Christ" (August 2017). Let us pray for more vocations from our Local Church. May our prayers and witness inspire young men and women to serve in priesthood and consecrated life.
